Charley Boy Suspends Anti-Buhari Protest Indefinitely
The “Our Mumu Don Do” movement led by ace musician, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charley Boy announced an indefinite suspension of its #ResumeOrResign Protest today.
Area Fada, as Charley Boy is also called, announced this at Unity Fountain in Abuja noting that the next line of action would be made known in the days ahead.
This shocking news is coming after the anti-buhari got attacked at Wuse market yesterday and Charly Boy’s private car was bashed.
He however established that the group is not compromised as a result of the death threats they have been confronted with since they embarked on the demonstration.
“We are not deterred by the intimidation and harassment by the sponsored thugs and we cannot be cowed by a few group of people”
“What government want to do is to ensure that we have a clash with the hired crowd and we will not allow that to happen”, Charly Boy said.
Aside, the co-convener, Deji Adeyanju was on Channels TV this morning but he never expressed any readiness for the demonstration to end soon.
The protest, which would have been 10 days today is hinged on the demands for the resumption or resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari who has been in London for 100 days now.
