Buhari Absent In NEC Meeting, Travels Out

President Muhammadu Buhari was absent in Thursday’s National Economic Council meeting at Abuja.

The President has embarked on a two-day visit to Bauchi state.

According to the Presidency, the President will be commissioning some projects including the Nigerian Armed Force Base Hospital Complex.

Buhari will also flag off the distribution of 500 tractors, hundreds of mini busses, motorcycles, farm to market tricycles, planters, 1000s of bags of fertiliser and several other mechanized farming equipment to farmers of Bauchi State provided by the state Governor M.A Abubakar

However, Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo presided over the monthly NEC which had in attendance the state Governors, and senior officials of the Federal Government, under the Chairmanship of the Vice President.
