PRESS TEXT BY NANS JCC ON AAUA SCHOOL FEE HIKE.
1. Greetings from the apex student body in the State.
2. Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko is one of the schools under our jurisdiction. It’s in lieu of the above that we write to intimate the students of our immediate stand.
3. As we all know, the new school fee regime has been announced. It is in total disregard to our long agitations and a shocking alliance of our State government and the school management to pile more hardship on indigent Nigerian students.
4. In view of the above, AAUA students are strongly advised NOT to go ahead with ANY payment.
5. In furtherance to our agitation, all students should kindly BOYCOTT, April 9th, 2018 resumption date as our agitations continue.
6. We seek your patience and maximum cooperation as we face this callous decision head on. Stay at alert and await further directive.
Thanks
Our stand resolutely remains NO INCREMENT “WHATSOEVER” IN OUR SCHOOL FEES.
Signed:
Adewunmi Adebowale
NANS JCC Chairman
