NCC deactivates 2.2m improperly registered SIMs

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says a total of 2.2 million improperly registered SIMs have been deactivated.

Umar Danbatta, the executive vice chairman of NCC in a statement on Sunday said all improperly registered SIMs across the all telecommunications networks have been deactivated.
