BREAKING: Melaye Finally Returns, Narrates Ordeal

Embattled Senator Dino Melaye has returned to public access after escaping ‘another dangerous attack’.

He recently announced his escape from the unknown gunmen, who waylaid him on his way to Kogi state from Abuja on Wednesday evening.

According to him, he had spent 11 hours in the wilderness before he could navigate his way out.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote that:

“I thank God once again for escaping another dangerous attack. I also thank Nigerians for their prayers and show of Love. Spent 11 hours in the wilderness traumatized but God preserved me. God is the best and in whom ONLY I trust. They will continue to try. WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!”.

In the last 24 hours, the news of his abduction have rented the air, after he was reportedly attacked in his vehicle while on trip to answer to the trail of the High Court in Abuja over his gun running case.

Senator Ben Bruce Murray had made the disclosure, after claiming he got the news from Moses Melaye, Dino’s brother.

“I have just been informed by
Moses Melaye, @dino_melaye ’s
brother, that Dino has been abducted by unknown persons in a Toyota Sienna that blocked their car and overpowered them on their way to Kogi to answer to
Dino’s court case. Lets be on the
watch out. Will keep you updated”, Ben Bruce tweeted yesterday.
