BREAKING: I’m Not Contesting For Senate – Mimiko

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the immediate past Governor of Ondo State has debunked rumors of his senatorial ambition in the state.

Authoritative sources told nigeriancablenewsonline.com that Mimiko made this clarification in an interactive session with some of his followers at his house in Ondo town on Wednesday. Some media houses had reported his movement from PDP before now.

The former governor according to our sources went further to clarify the latest speculation of an intended move from the People’s Democratic Party to the Labour Party, saying he is yet to take a decision on the rumoured move.

He also added that decisions on either or not he will decamp will only be drawn from the preponderance of opinions, after due consultations with his followers and Political allies.

Mimiko informed his followers of his political activities since the end of his tenure in February, 2017 before asking attendees to voice out on the way forward.
