BREAKING: Ighalo Scores Again As Nigeria Defeats Libya

Super Eagles skipper, Idion Ighalo is undoubtedly in form, having good times for his national team as he bags brace in a winning African Cup of Nation qualifier match against the Libyan team tonight.

The match which just ended started 7pm (Nigerian) at the opponent stadium in Libya.

The full time scoreline was 2 – 3 in favor of Nigeria.

Libya’s comeback falls short as they lose a competitive match on home soil for the first time since October 7,
2017.

Odion Ighalo’s brace and an Ahmed Musa goal got Nigeria a massive away win.

The earliest goal came at the 14th minutes from Ighalo after he fabulously utilized a left pass from Musa.

The second was not to far to fetch from Musa at the 17th minutes.

Libya, however ignited their hope after the team strived to strike a goal before the first half ended 1 – 2.

An equalizer came for the Libyans at the 73rd minutes but Ighalo came through again putting an end to the euphoria.

With the Ighalo’s winning goal at the 79th minutes, Nigeria ended the game on a high note.
