BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Ade Adeogun In Oka-Akoko

Mr. Ade Ade Adeogun, a popular aspirant for the Akoko southwest/southeast federal constituency seat for the 2019 election was attack by yet to be identified gunmen on Monday night in
Oka-Akoko community of Ondo state, Nigerian Cable News can confirm.

nigeriancablenewsonline.com gathered that Adeogun, who is contest on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was attacked during a consultation meeting.

According to an account of the event by one of his supporters, Mr. Samad Orijeminiyi, obtained by Nigerian Cable News. one person was injured in the attack, after some rounds of gunshot.

Mr. Samad wrote:

“The leading aspirant for the position of House of Representatives, Akoko South East and South West Federal Constituency, Mr. Ade Adeogun, a beautiful brand was having a robust session with his loyalists at Ibaka, Oka-Akoko when some hoodlums laid siege on the bungalow and fired shots in the air around 9:29pm.”

“The barbaric attitude of these cowards threw the session into disarray and had some innocent women badly injured.”

“We are using this medium to sound a note of warning to all aspirants planning to forment trouble as a result of the growing popularity of Ade Adeogun to shield their swords and have a rethink.”

“Of note, no one has monopoly of violence. And if there’s any amongst aspirants in this constituency, the person is Ade Adeogun who retired as a DSS boss and served as Chief Security Officer to the Governor of Rivers State, the hotplate of Nigeria politics for years.”

“We are not afraid of what violence anyone could cause, we are only scared of the capacity we have to do break all their “toys” if we decide to join the fray.”

“We cherish peace and are bent on building a new Akoko where brothers connect with no iota of fear or animosity.”

“We are committed to making life better and living at peace with all our neighbours. Fantastically, the people of our constituency are still keying into the vision of birthing an Akoko that we all can be proud of, and it begins with sending credible, selfless and visionary leaders to represent us.”

“By His grace, come Wednessday 3rd of October, the peoples voice will be heard, bringing an abrupt end to this regime of terror.”

“In this vein, Ade Adeogun assures his loyalists to stay firm, resolute and dutiful as they prepare to vote and defend their votes on Wednessday.”

“We trust our security agents be up to the task. No manner of humiliation and subjugation can chicken us out. God willing, we are winning this race, not slightly but convincingly.”; he concluded.
