The chief of staff to Osun state governor, Isiaka Oyetola has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in the state

Oyetola defeated the speaker of the Osun state house of assembly, Najeem Salam who was his closest rival, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative, Lasun Yusuff among 14 other aspirants.

He secured 127,017 votes ahead of others.

Oyetola will be slugging it out for the ruling party in September 22 at governorship poll.
