BREAKING: Another Buhari’s Minister Resigns, Dumps APC

Aisha Alhassan, minister of women affairs, has resigned from the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Her media aide, Suleiman Dantosho just confirmed this development.

Dantosho said Alhassan has also withdrawn her membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A copy of of her letter was submitted to the APC in Sarakin ward ff Jalingo local government to formally notify the APC of her withdrawal.

The minister who had interest in contesting the 2019 governorship election in Taraba state was screened out of the race by the ruling party.

Her resignation comes two weeks after that of Kemi Adeosun, former minister of finance. Adeosun bowed out
after she was caught in a certificate scandal.
