Abuja Market Catches Fire

Karu Market, located in a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is currently on fire.

The fire, which our correspondent gathered started around 8:00pm, is still raging.

The cause of the fire and other details about the incident could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

The acting Director of the FCT, Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said firefighters have been deployed to the scene.

Unconfirmed reports from bystanders however has it that the fire fighters have complained that there’s not water available to do the needful.
