Atiku Will Soon Join Our Party – PDP

The leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in Adamawa has expressed an uncompromising hope that the former vice-president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar will soon return to the party.

According to reports received, Atiku had a closed door meeting with Adamawa PDP executives at all levels, as well as state chairmen from the six states that constitute the North-East over the weekend.

Atiku resigned from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, pondering what future holds for him.

Speaking after the meeting, Abdullahi Prambe, Adamawa state secretary of PDP, remarked that the meeting has been fruitful.

“Our meeting with him has been fruitful and from his body language he will soon return to PDP,” Prambe said.

“With Atiku, the party will carry more weight and more people will also troop in,” he added.
