Anglican Church To Award Ondo Businessman, Fowópè Adesina Over Philanthropic Gestures

The Saint Timothy Anglican Church in Igbara- Oke community of Ifedore local government area in Ondo state has scheduled Mr. Ademide Fowópè Adesina, a re​nowned businessman and farmer, for a special award and recognition.

The choice of Mr. Fowópè, according to the church, is predicted on his commitment to the people of the community, in numerous charity and philanthropic gestures.

The award presentation and recognition ceremony, it was gathered, will hold in the church premises on Saturday 17th of August by 11:00am.

The Fowópè Initiative, a brainchild of Mr. Ademide Fowópè Adesina, it was gathered, has been active in the Igbara-oke community and Ifedore at large, in sponsoring and organising different empowerment initiatives, which includes but not limited to giving women business grants to help with their various businesses, scholarship payments for students’ whole secondary school fees from JSS1 – SS3.

Fowópè Fest, a first of its kind Christmas festival in Ifedore where gifts and prizes worth millions of naira are given out.
Distributed food items, including rice, beans, garri and others across all quarters in Igbara-Oke. Donation of 13 Solar power Street lights to Surulere Neighborhood, donation of cow to the central mosque for Eid and current renovation of a block of classrooms at St Joseph Primary school Igbara Oke, to mention but a few.
