Akoko By-Election: ‘Tunji-Ojo Thanks Tinubu, Ganduje, Aiyedatiwa, Adetimehin over Ehindero’s Victory

The minister of interior, honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under His Excellency, Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the people of akoko northeast and northwest federal constituency over the victory of Mr. Ifeoluwa Ehindero at the February 3rd By-election held in the constituency.

The minister, who described the choice of Ehindero as discerning in a statement he personally signed on Sunday, also said “the beauty of our democratic system unfolds when our citizens, through the democratic process, choose representatives they deem most deserving of the position.”

He expressed his confidence in Ehindero by saying; “I count Hon. Ife Ehindero not merely as a worthy successor but as a standard-bearer, poised to elevate our federal constituency to new heights on the shoulders of his capable representation.”

By-Election: Continuity Of Greatness in Akoko

The beauty of our democratic system unfolds when our citizens, through the democratic process, choose representatives they deem most deserving of the position.

This discerning choice made by the esteemed residents of Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in electing Hon. Ife Ehindero as their federal representative on February 3, 2024, not only mirrors our democratic values but also cements our collective identity as a progressive force.

This victory represents the continuity of effective and efficient representation our party has offered since 2019.

I applaud President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for fostering a conducive atmosphere where our democratic values can thrive.

I appreciate the unparalleled stewardship provided by the APC National Leadership under His Excellency, Abdullahi Ganduje.

I wish to appreciate the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering support.

I equally use this medium to recognize the dedication and zest of the Ondo State APC Executive Committee under Engr Ade Adetimehin for leading the party to yet another victory.

As a member of the APC family, the development of the Federal Constituency through quality representation remains the goal, and I hold no doubt that the people who trusted him with this important mandate will not be disappointed.
