Akinfolarin donates Another Transformer in Odigbo

The lawmaker representing Ile-oluji-Okeigbo and Odigbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Mayowa Akinfolarin has on Wednesday donated another 500KVA transformer to New Town/Orita community of Odigbo ward, Odigbo local government area of Ondo state.

The transformer delivered on Wednesday is the second, after the one delivered in Otun Community last week.

Also delivered with the transformer are all needed equipments for its fully installation, to boost public power supply to the area.

The lawmaker had promised to donate five transformers to help improve on the sagging power supply to the rural community.

A former commissioner for Culture and Tourism in ondo state, Honourable Olurimisi, the Chief Imam of Odigbo Local Government and Chief Akinrinmade, a community leader, who were present to receive the the transformer on behalf of the community said it would go a long way in addressing the epileptic power supply in the area.

The former Commissioner further said that the previous transformer that was replaced on Wednesday got faulty since four years ago without anyone helping to change it.

“I am here to witness the philanthropic gesture of Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa, with this, the New town/Orita Community would be free from the predicament and plague of been in darkness for long.” He said.

The community prayed for God’s protection for the Lawmaker, his family and the entire constituency.

They wish the Lawmaker greater height in his political career and promised to support him in his future ambition.
