2019: Ex-Ondo Speaker, Olabimtan Storms Akoko, Mobilizes Support For Senate

A former Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, and an aspirant for the Ondo North seat of the Nigerian senate, on Monday took his campaign team to Akoko southeast local government, in Preparation for the All Progressives Congress Primary Election.

Olabimtan, a Renowned Leader of the APC in Ondo state was received by a cheering crowd of Suppporters in the ancient town of Isua Akoko. Where he recruited news mobilizers for the gospel of his senatorial aspiration.

He was warmly received by the local government APC leaders, local government APC executive, various APC wards executives and party faithful.

The gathering turned out to be a testimony rendering meeting for the people of Akoko South East, Where they showered encomium on Olabimtan for assisting many of their sons and daughters to secure employment among several other good things he has done for the people of Akoko South East in the past.

The party leaders, executives and members promised to pay back his good deed by supporting him on his senatorial quest.

Olabimtan responded by thanking the people for appreciating his moderate efforts. He promised to surpass his past record in human capital development with a pledge to devote his entire life to making life more meaningful for all and sundry.

The highpoint of the event was when all APC leaders, executives and members in Akoko South East local government area unanimously christened him “Omoluka of Akokoland” for his selfless and humanitarian services. Despite the fact that Olabimtan is from Supare Akoko, Isua was agog because of the rousing welcome APC members gave him.
