2019: Babangida, Ezekwesili Meet Behind Closed Doors

Former Nigerian minister and presidential candidate of the Allied
Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Dr. Oby Ezekwesili secretly met with former military president Ibrahim Babangida on Sunday, TheCable understands.

The closed-door meeting lasted for hours at the residence of the retried general in Minna, Niger state

A spokesperson for her campaign confirmed the meeting but did not give detailed information about it.

“The discussion was about the future of Nigeria and the 2019 elections,” the official said, refusing to confirm if Ezekwesili sought or got Babangida’s endorsement.

Recall, Atiku had secretly met Babangida in August over his presidential bid.
