Ife on spiritual Lockdown as Ooni invokes Ancestral Powers Against COVID-19

The entire Ife kingdom in Osun state is presently on a ‘water-tight’ restriction of both human and vehicle movement, Nigerian cable news has reliably gathered.

Report says the Ooni of and paramount ruler of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Babatunde Ogunwusi had sent a notice on Monday, announcing a total restriction of movements all over the kingdom on Thursday.

This according to the notice is because the king had concluded plans to move out the spiritual and ancestral Yoruba Powers on a tour of the kingdom, to fight and send away Coronavirus.

A written copy of the notice crafted in Yoruba language reads as follows:

“KERE O, KERE OO, KERE OOO.”
“LONILE, LALEJO, LOKUNRIN, LOBINRIN, LOMODE, LAGBA, LORUKO, OONI OBA ENITAN ADEYEYE BABATUNDE OGUNWUSI, LA N FI ASIKO YI KEDE, PE, KONISI, AAYE, FUN, ENIKENI, LATIJADE LO, SIBIKIBI, LOJO ALAMISI, OJO KEJI, OSU KERIN, ODUN YI, KARALE GBO, KOSO FARA OKO, ORO IBILE ISEMBAYE AWON, ALALE, YO JADE SITA, LOJO THURSDAY, OSE YI, KOLE KASE ESUKU EBORA CORONA VIRUS KURO NILE NILEYI ATI KI ALAAFIA LE JOBA NILE IFE E JOWO A N SO FUN GBOGBO ENIYAN PE ORO YI ENIKENI KO GBODO RI O ATOKUNRIN OBINRIN OMODE AGBALAGBA LAGBARA AWON ALALE ORO KO NI GBE WA LO ASE KI ONIKALUKU JOKO SINU ILE RE AWON IBI TI ORO YO GBA KOJA NIWONYI LATI IWARA ILODE, OKE ATAN, ILORO, AGANHUN, ARUBIDI, MOREMI, ONDO ROAD, OLURIN, OMI OKUN, IYEKERE, OROTO, ITAAGBON, OKE AYETORO, OKE SODA, OTUTU, AJAMOPO, ITA SUN, LOKORE, ODOIWARA, OLUMOGBE, IJIO, OJAFE, EDENA, IGBO AGBO, OBALOOGUN, ONPETU, ODUDUWA COLLEGE ROAD, AKIILE, ILARE, SAABO, IREMO, OKEREWE, OBALEJUGBE, GARAGE ISALE, MOKURO ROAD, OJAJA, OGBINGBIN, OKEJAN, IREDUMI, LAGERE, FAJUYI, GBODO, ITA OLOPO, ISALE AGBARA, OGBON AGBARA, OGBON OYA, AKUI, OBALUFON, ITAKOGUN, ORIYANGI, EHINDI, OMISORE,OLURIN, PEDIRO, OKEMORISA, ATAWON IBO MII AAGO MEJO OWURO SIAAGO MEFA IROLE NI ORO YO FI GBA ODE O, ORO KOMO OMO OBA OMO IJOYE KO MO EMESE KO MO ONISESE KO MOASIWAJU ESIN KANKAN ENIKENI TI ORO ALALE AWON BABANLAWA BA RI NIYOO GBE O”
